How to create the themes menu?
Saturday, April 12, 2014
After you follow the blogger.com, click on your blog to link to blog’s main page.
Click on “Layout” in the left menu.
Scroll down to find “Blog posts” and “Archives” sections. Follow the “Add a Gadget” link.
Then ensure that “Basics” is selected.
After that find the “Text” gadget by scrolling down the list. And press on plus button.
Enter the “Title” (e. g. Themes), then type needed themes to observe (don’t forget to use dashes to make separators) and after you distinguish the name of theme click on “Create Link”.
Here you should insert the following text:
http://myblog.blogspot.com/search/label/label1
where “myblog” is the name of your blog (e. g. “gorkovets” is the name of my blog gorkovets.blogspot.com) and “label1” is the name of label.
Click on "OK" and then “Save” button and check it.
After all of this when you create the new post you could enter the labels separating by a comma that related to the post in the right column “Post settings”.
So every time when we follow the necessary themes we see the label firstly and then there are the posts with same labels.

ReplyDeleteThis is probably the easiest tutorial I have followed. Thank you so much for sharing it! Now, could you please tell me if can I apply labels for existing posts or should work this just for new ones after Themes were created?
ReplyDeleteThank you in advance!
Yes, you could use labels for every post that you have, even imported. If you will edit your post you will see the "Post settings" area on the right, there is the "Labels" menu item.
DeleteI think I founded after re-read your tutorial!
